バイクや自転車での遊びを想定して開発した、 ローカットのシューレースタイプです。
ソールは No.001 と同じ仕様で、 軽さ・柔らかさ・衝撃吸収性を優先した EVA＋ラバーの2層構造を採用しています。
 
アッパーは、ポリエステルメッシュをベースに 耐久性の高い本革スウェードと、
伸縮方向をコントロールしやすいPUスウェードを組み合わせて補強。
さらに、側面と踵にラバー材を配置することで、 マウンテンバイクのダウンヒル時に クランクへ確実にグリップさせ、 バイクのコーナーリング時には ステップのバックプレートにしっかり食いつくよう設計しています。
 
なお、バイクを使用しない場合は、 不要なシフトペダルガードをハサミでカットしていただけます。 「普段は街で履く。 思いついたらそのまま乗る。」 そんな“趣味人の瞬発力”を支える一足です。

SQUARE ONE No.002
Designed for everyday wear with sudden riding in mind, the No.002 is a low-cut lace-up built for bikes, mountain trails, and spontaneous detours.
The sole construction mirrors the No.001, using a lightweight EVA (pylon) midsole paired with a rubber outsole for a soft step, shock absorption, and reliable traction on pedals or pavement.
The upper combines a polyester mesh base with durable genuine suede and PU suede overlays to control stretch and reinforce high-wear zones.
For riding performance, rubberized panels on the lateral side and heel provide grip against cranks during downhill MTB, and help maintain contact on motorcycle footpegs during cornering.
A removable shift-pedal guard is included.
If you're not using the shoe for bikes, simply trim it off with scissors.
No.002 is made for people who prefer to live without switching shoes:
Walk around town.
Hit the pedals when you feel like it.
