SQUARE ONE No.001 MIDは、バイクや自転車が好きな人のために開発した、
普段履き×ライドを両立するスニーカーです。通勤やちょっとした移動など、
わざわざバイク専用シューズを履くほどではないシーンは意外と多いものです。
かといって一般的なスニーカーだと、シフトペダルで 甲が破れたり汚れたり、痛くなったりします。
ならば、**“普段履きでそのまま乗れる”**靴を作ろう。
そんな発想から生まれたのが No.001 MIDです。
 
設計のポイント
・踏み返し（屈曲）を妨げないパターン設計　
　　甲部分には可動を邪魔しない形状を採用しています。
・シフトペダル保護用マジックベルト（取り外し可）
　　ライド時の保護を担う一方、「邪魔」「汚れが気になる」という方のために、
　　ハサミで後から切断できる仕様にしています。
・ナイロンメッシュの通気性＋補強配置
　　メッシュ部は軽さと快適さのために、破れやすい位置にはしっかり補強を配置しています。
・低反発インソールで疲労軽減
　　特殊配合の低反発スポンジを使用し、十分な厚みでフィット感とクッション性を両立。

SQUARE ONE No.001 MID is a mid-cut sneaker designed for people who ride — made to handle everyday life and those sudden moments when you just want to get on a bike.
There are more situations than you think where
“full motorcycle boots are overkill,”
but regular sneakers wear out fast: torn uppers from shift pedals, scuffed toes, and sore insteps.
So we built a shoe you can wear every day, and still ride when the mood hits.
That’s the idea behind the No.001 MID.
Design Features
Flex-friendly upper pattern
The forefoot and instep design allows natural bend and “roll-through” without fighting the structure of the shoe.
Shift-pedal protection strap (removable)
The strap protects the instep while riding.
If you don’t need it — or don’t want the look —
simply trim it off with scissors.
Nylon mesh with targeted reinforcement
Mesh provides airflow and comfort,
while high-wear areas around the shift pedal are reinforced for durability.
Low-rebound cushioned insole
A special polyurethane foam offers long-lasting comfort,
enough thickness to ease fatigue,
and a fit that stays comfortable all day.
Philosophy: everyday first, ride whenever
Walk around town.
Run errands.
Then hop on the bike when you feel like it — no shoe change required.
